Who, what, why
About
Useful Machines is a blog about practical AI. What actually works, what doesn't, and why it matters.
I'm Malik. Most of my time outside work goes into building things with AI, prototyping tools, stress-testing agentic systems, and figuring out where things break once the constraints of real use arrive.
This site is where I write about what I learn along the way. It publishes when there's something worth saying. Usually once or twice a month, sometimes quiet for longer. No schedule to protect and no newsletter to feed.
If something here sparks a thought, disagreement, or a better idea, I'd like to hear it.
